Upcoming Events

Pedal Against Polio - April is designated by District 5240 as the month to “Pedal Against Polio,” and different clubs throughout the district, individually or partnering together, are participating in events to raise money to finish the fight against polio. Our club is able to participate in an event April 30 . . . listen for more information or contact John Clay, Jr.

Cinco De Mayo Festival - Our club once again has the opportunity to benefit from funds raised in Radio Lazer’s annual Cinco De Mayo Festival, taking place this year on April 30 and May 1 at College Park. Volunteers are needed to work the beer booth at the festival . . . see President Mark for more information. This is a fun and easy way for the club to raise funds, but you must have a current RBS training card.

Annual Golf Tournament - Mark your calendars for Friday, May 13 to swing into this year’s annual golf tournament. The tournament will take place this year at The Lakes at River Ridge. See Gary Trow or Tim Launcher for more information.

Strawberry Festival - After practicing at the Cinco de Mayo festival, you can put your beer pouring skills to work again at the annual Strawberry Festival in May! Again . . . if you want to serve, you must have gone through the Responsible Beverage Service training and have your card with you on the day of the event. Listen for announcements about the dates and times of trainings.
