Thanks to George Benz for inviting the club to Casa Benz to enjoy USA vs. Portugal on Sunday. Your bulletin editor was unable to attend, but did manage to watch about 45 minutes of the game (match? meet?), bringing her lifetime total to 60 minutes. It cannot be denied, it was pretty riveting, and Thursday vs. Germany will definitely be on TV at the VCs. We would use the rest of the bulletin to explain the standings, groupings and how the teams move on, but the lack of space and a Ph.D. prevents us.
