We’re down to just a few weeks, and a few spots left, before Santa to the Sea 2012!!
Mike Barber announced this week that this year’s maximum registration of 2,000 is already up to about 1,800, and that registration is up way over last year’s totals. Santa to the Sea features a 13.1 mile half-marathon, a 5K, and 1K fun run. The event features music throughout the route, and a costume contest, making it fun for all. The race has a charitable mission as well — last year’s event helped to give away more than 2,000 toys and gifts, and 36 scholarships of $500 each.
Help our local community and have fun too! The event is December 9, 2012. Get more info at www.santatothesea.com.
