Interact Club News
The Oxnard High School Interact Club’s Step-Into-Literacy activity will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School. At the event, the Interact students will present their shoebox projects to every kindergarten student. Rotarians will remember the visit from the Interact Club students where they showed off their shoeboxes, filled with all kinds of goodies for the kindergarten students.
The activity begins at 9:30 am and ends at approximately 12:45. All Rotarians are invited to attend or stop by and see the high school students mentoring these children. It is a very special time for all. Ask Phyllis for more information, or ask John Jr., who attended last year.
Our Interact-ers are off to RYLA in April . . . we wish them well and look forward to a program soon after they return!
