New Year, New Prez . . .
Welcome President George Benz! After a rousing demotion dinner and fitting Rotary good-bye to the reign of President Cris, we welcome George Benz as President of Oxnard Rotary for the 2014-2015 year! Let’s all do our part to make the year a great success!!

Last Week’s Meeting
We started off our new Rotary year with a Club Assembly, which included a bit of business.
Gary Davis provided the Club with information about our Teacher Recognition program for the coming year. So far, the program has honored a total of 27 teachers from three different schools. The program began in the 2010-2011 Rotary and school year, with teachers honored from the Oxnard Union High School District and the Oxnard School District. In the 2012-2013 year, the program expanded to include the Rio School District. This year, we will honor 8 teachers, two each from the high school district and the Rio district, and four from the Oxnard district.
The club was provided with the team assignments for the year. For the ease of future reference, the assignments are provided in a separate bulletin, provided concurrent with this bulletin.
The Club has compiled the Pledge and Invocation assignments for the year. Again, for the ease of future reference, the assignments are provided in a separate bulletin, provided concurrent with this bulletin.
